When I joined BrightWolves six months ago, my onboarding experience was anything but typical. Instead of a standard onboarding, I dove straight into a high-impact project with the South African branch of a leading global food and beverage company. It was thrilling, intense, and, to be honest, a bit scary. My initial fear quickly faded though, thanks to the incredible support I received from the BrightWolves community in both South Africa and Belgium. Now, I find myself living between two vibrant cities—Johannesburg and Cape Town—and I feel like an honorary Belgian.
What truly sets BrightWolves apart is our "one team" mentality. Regardless of whether someone is officially assigned to your project, there’s always a helping hand ready to jump in. This spirit of collaboration is deeply embedded in our culture. With such a diverse and global team, there's rarely a challenge without a solution; someone, somewhere has the insight or experience to guide you through.
Though my onboarding was unconventional, it was profoundly reassuring. I’m surrounded by colleagues who genuinely care about my growth and success. I’m not one to boast about my achievements, but I feel compelled to share that, as I celebrate six months at BrightWolves, I am also celebrating my promotion from Business Analyst to Consultant. This milestone reflects the collective investment the team has made in me and reinforces the belief that my hard work for our clients is truly valued.
Being part of BrightWolves SA, which just celebrated its three-year anniversary, still feels like being in a startup, thanks to our down-to-earth culture. Our small team allows for meaningful 1:1 connections, making our impact on clients both substantial and rewarding. Every contribution feels significant.
I'm also proud to have introduced a Friday team ritual—#FloujokeFriday. Every Friday, we share our smartest dry jokes to signal that the weekend is near and to enjoy a good laugh after a week of hard work. This might be my biggest contribution so far!
The past six months have been a whirlwind of learning, adapting, and growing. I’ve been challenged in ways I never expected, and I’ve come out stronger, more confident, and more connected.
If you’re ready for your next challenge and want to be part of a team that truly supports and empowers you, don’t hesitate to reach out. BrightWolves might just be the place where your next great adventure begins.
