Internships bridge the gap between academics and real-world challenges. My four-month experience at BrightWolves was more than an introduction to consulting, it was a deep dive into the world of problem-solving, project delivery, and personal growth.
From Theory to Practice: Entering the Consulting World
Being in the last stage of my academic journey, joining BrightWolves offered the perfect platform to get a real taste of the professional world. I had heard of the company’s dynamic culture and focus on impact, but experiencing it firsthand was something else entirely. Right from the start, I felt trusted, included, and encouraged to take initiative.
The warm welcome from the team helped me find my footing quickly. Colleagues were approachable and genuinely interested in my development. Coffee chats, project discussions, and team lunches made me feel like more than "just an intern." I was part of something bigger, part of a company that values purpose, ownership, and ambition.
The events with the whole group (bootcamp, new years party, afterwork drinks) instilled camaraderie in a way that I did not expect.

Immersed in Medtech: A Client Project with Real Impact
The highlight of my internship was being integrated into a project for a MedTech client. The objective: support the client in streamlining its supply chain data and enhancing transparency across business functions. From the beginning, I was given ownership of concrete deliverables that had a direct impact on the project’s progress.
My tasks ranged from structuring and validating large datasets, to preparing internal dashboards and supporting client-facing presentations. Each deliverable came with both challenge and reward, and the learning curve was steep, in the best way possible.
Working alongside experienced consultants, I not only sharpened my technical and analytical skills, but also learned how to communicate with clients, respond to feedback, and manage my time under pressure.
Being on a client project gave me a clear look into how BrightWolves consultants adapt to complex environments, manage ambiguity, and drive real impact. During the past four months, I could spend the majority of my efforts on delivering value to the client.
The most important lesson I learned? Truly own the problem of the client: this gives you the responsibility and commitment you need to leverage the best of your capabilities.
Beyond Delivery: Internal Contributions and Community
In addition to the client work, I had the opportunity to contribute to internal initiatives and get a taste of what it means to be a full member of the BrightWolves' Pack. I attended meetings, engaged in informal knowledge-sharing sessions, and learned about different service lines across the company, from sustainability to AI.
These moments allowed me to explore how BrightWolves blends deep industry expertise with a strong culture of entrepreneurship and support. It was inspiring to see how much energy is dedicated to growing people alongside projects.
Growth through Ownership and Feedback
One of the defining features of my internship was the level of autonomy I experienced. I was trusted to lead smaller workstreams and contribute independently to deliverables. At the same time, regular feedback and check-ins helped me grow fast and stay aligned with project goals.
This balance of independence and guidance was key to developing confidence in my abilities. I learned that asking the right questions is as important as having the right answers, and that being proactive opens doors to even more opportunities.
Conclusion
My internship at BrightWolves was an intense and rewarding experience. It gave me insight into the world of consulting, a firsthand view of the MedTech industry, and a strong foundation for my future career. I’m proud of the work I contributed, grateful for the people who supported me, and excited to continue building on what I’ve learned. BrightWolves has shown me what it means to work with purpose, and for that, I’m truly thankful. Would you love to hear more? Don't hesitate to reach out! .
