1 great first edition of the BrightWolves Sustainability Challenge thanks to all the participants

Congratulations to all the finalists for their amazing pitch

The 10 finalists of the Brightwolves Sustainability Challenge gave a pitch to present their sustainable impact and the market potential of their solution.

All the pitches were amazing, and even though BrightWolves had to choose only one winner, we want to give credits to all the entrepreneurs contributing to a better future:

  • Urban harvest brings local & pesticide-free vegetables of the highest quality thanks to a system of vertical farming

  • Resortecs facilitates circular economy in the fashion industry thanks to a thermosensitive sewing thread

  • Soil capital demonstrates farming can be environmentally beneficial by providing a digital platform to reduce GHG emissions

  • Omegabaars rears the most sustainable fish in the world with a circular Aquafarm

  • Hytchers changes the paradigm of logistics by having your parcels delivered by your neighbour in a CO2 neutral way

  • IWAS gives a second life to waste and empowers artisans at the same time, by providing an upcycling platform to sell products

  • Sentinel contributes to the eco-system of smart and shared mobility through a smart lock IoT system adaptable to any bike.

  • Eco-tap changes the way consumers buy cleaning products through a 100% zero waste solution.

  • JuuNoo provides the look and feel of a classical gypsum wall but without the dust, noise and waste.

About the Sustainability challenge

The sustainability wave will hit the economy the same way the digital transformation did a few years ago. Players creating sustainable value now, will be the market leaders of tomorrow.

Our Belgian ecosystem is rich with start-ups working for a better future, a greener planet and happier communities. BrightWolves's vision is to empower those companies and help them in their mission.

The best way to support sustainable start-ups for BrightWolves is by doing what we are best at: sharing our expertise!

That's why we created the sustainability challenge. We are looking for the most promising sustainable start-ups in Belgium to share our expertise with them.

"We aim to support sustainable startups by offering them FREE hands-on consulting as well as by connecting them with BrightWolves' corporate clients."
